Install and activate your eSIM

Use the exact instructions supplied with your Terrtel plan. The steps below are a general guide because menu names vary by device.

Before departure

  1. Check compatibility. Confirm your phone supports eSIM and is network-unlocked.
  2. Connect to stable Wi-Fi. Installation requires an internet connection.
  3. Add the eSIM. Follow the app or plan instructions and keep the eSIM label easy to recognise, such as “Terrtel Travel”.
  4. Keep it off until needed. Unless your plan instructions say otherwise, wait until arrival before using the Terrtel line for mobile data.

When you arrive

  1. Turn on the Terrtel eSIM line.
  2. Select Terrtel for mobile data.
  3. Enable data roaming on the Terrtel line if your plan instructions require it.
  4. Wait a few minutes, then restart the device if it does not connect.

If you cannot connect

Check that airplane mode is off, the Terrtel line is enabled, mobile data points to Terrtel and any required data roaming setting is on. Do not delete the eSIM unless Terrtel support specifically tells you to—reinstallation may not be possible.
